Hot Oven

preheat oven to 180°C / 190°C

cooking time 25 minutes per 500g

Cold Oven

put chicken in oven and heat to 150°C

cooking time 30 minutes per 500g

for the last 10 minutes, heat to 200 to crunchify the skin

cooking slowly means that the grease doesn't escape the bird.
