1951 BHG Brownies

Pre-heat oven to 180° · 30-35 minutes baking time

115 g butter 60 g unsweetened baking chocolate 100 g flour 1/2 cc baking powder 1/2 cc salt 2 eggs 200g sugar 1 cc vanilla (15°) 115g walnuts, coarsely cut

Melt butter and chocolate together in a double boiler over hot water and let cool

Sift flour with baking powder and salt

Beat eggs until light; add sugar, then chocolate mixture, and blend.

Add flour, vanilla, and nuts.

Mix well.

Pour batter into well greased 23ø round pan.

Bake for 30 -35 minutes.

Cool and cut into squares
